MIZZTECH is a professional manufacturer of slurry pumps
The installation requirements of the slurry pump and the precautions for on-site maintenance are mutually complementary. According to the installation requirements of the slurry pump, the installation and cooperation of the slurry pump can be effectively carried out to ensure the normal operation of the pump. If the installation does not meet the requirements, the failure rate will increase. Therefore, the maintenance cost of the slurry pump is increased. In addition, when replacing the spare parts or maintenance of the slurry pump, the pump is often disassembled and assembled, and each time the corresponding disassembly and assembly needs to be reinstalled. If the installation request is negligent, the consequences are self-evident.
We put together the requirements for the installation of the slurry pump and the precautions for on-site maintenance. It is just for the users of the slurry pump who need help to get the most help. Of course, the website can only be textually explained. Still need help, please call our service hotline: +8613810777318, the following is the technical information we have compiled for you.
First, the preparation work required before the slurry pump is installed The pump has been inspected and tested before leaving the factory. In order to ensure that it is in good working condition, it must be installed correctly. Before installation, you should first check the model and parameters of the equipment according to the “packing list”. The parts are complete and intact, and the technical data and quality certificate carried are random. After checking the correctness, you should read the relevant technical materials in detail, especially the < Slurry Pump Instruction Manual >, and master the relevant technical requirements and operating methods before installation, and avoid blind operation.
The horizontal pump unit should be installed by secondary grouting. After installation, the centerline of the unit should be consistent with the centerline of the foundation; the deviation between the center height of the unit and the design value should be no more than ±2mm, and the horizontal tolerance of the unit is 0.1/1000.
For a pump unit that uses a coupling direct-coupled transmission, the coaxiality of the unit is generally guaranteed by the alignment of the coupling. There are two ways to find the coupling:
One is to match the knife and the feeler. Find the outer circle of the coupling with the knife edge to ensure that each pair of couplings is flush in all directions, and the maximum error δ should be no more than 0.10mm [Fig. 3, (a)]. The gap between each pair of couplings is checked with a feeler gauge, and the maximum error Δ(Δ = δ1 - δ2) should be no more than 0.10 mm [Fig. 3, (b)].
Another method is to use a magnetic dial indicator with a feeler gauge to align the coupling. Fix the magnetic dial indicator on the outer circle of one side of the coupling and drive the car. The dial indicator is placed on the outer circle of the opposite coupling. The jitter of the dial indicator should not be greater than 0.15mm [Fig. 3, (c )]. The gap of the coupling is measured with a feeler gauge and its maximum error should be no more than 0.10 mm [Fig. 3, (b)].
For belt-driven pump units, the parallelism between the pump shaft and the motor shaft should be ensured, usually with a pulley. If the center distance is small, you can use a straight ruler to straighten the end of the pulley. When the center distance is large, you can use the pull wire to straighten the end of the belt to correct it, as shown in Figure 4.
Suction pipe diameter: The suction pipe diameter should be the same as the inlet diameter of the pump or slightly larger than the diameter of the pump inlet. The principle is to avoid the cavitation of the pump and the deposition of the slurry in the pipeline.
Suction port gate valve: In order to facilitate the maintenance of the pump, a suction port gate valve shall be provided, the diameter of which is the same as the diameter of the suction pipe. A telescopic joint should be provided between the suction port of the pump and the suction pipe to disassemble the pump.
Discharge pipe diameter: The discharge pipe diameter is related to the slurry property and the settlement flow velocity. Under normal circumstances, the discharge pipe diameter is equal to or slightly larger than the outlet diameter of the pump.
Exit gate valve: The outlet gate valve should be the same as the outlet pipe diameter.
Pressure gauge: Located on the straight pipe section between the pump outlet and the first valve.
When adjusting the flow rate with a valve, the regulating valve should be located at the pump outlet. It is not allowed to adjust the valve on the inlet line to avoid cavitation.
The piping for shaft sealing water and cooling water shall be configured as shown in Figure 7. The shaft seal part of the mechanical seal pump is installed with two exposed pipe joints, the pressure gauge side is the water inlet and the other side is the water outlet. Grease-lubricated brackets are free of cooling water. When grease is used to lubricate the packing, the shaft is not sealed.
Slurry pumps are widely used in many industrial fields. The main purpose is to transport media with particles. The relatively complicated working conditions may cause the slurry pump to be greatly worn during daily use. The service life of the slurry pump is the best way to enhance the daily maintenance of the slurry pump.
