Under the use of the submerged slurry pump, cavitation will occur. Let us briefly introduce the mechanism of cavitation, I hope to help you:
At present, the most representative of the internal mechanism of cavitation in the submerged slurry pump is the "gas core theory" proposed by Kneipp. The theory holds that there are tiny bubbles (called nucleons) in the liquid, which reduce the tensile strength of the liquid; during the flow of the fluid through the overcurrent components of the submerged slurry pump, the pressure across the flow path is Unequal, as the pressure of the fluid decreases, the pressure of the fluid near the blade drops below the vaporization pressure, and the nuclei will rapidly expand to form bubbles that become in the bubble as the liquid enters the high pressure zone. The steam will recondense into liquid water. When the steam condenses, the bubble disappears, and the bubble bursts very quickly, causing the surrounding liquid to hit the center of the bubble at a very high speed, thereby causing local water hammer action and causing erosion damage to the overcurrent components. This comprehensive process with bubble generation, bursting, impact, and corrosion is called the cavitation process of the submerged slurry pump.
